Projects

I have been involved in the following projects as an artist, designer, musician and programmer.

The art is in the tea

The Art is in the Tea site contains records of installations and collaborations with artist and photographer Sarah Bush. We made kaballistic art and went completely insane for about a year. It also features work by Anna Cole, Claudia Moseley and others. We're back on the scene now, licking our wounds and painting in blood, haha.

Section6

Section 6 is our little network of squatters and ravers in Camden Town. We have been around for a while, looking after each other through the cold cold winters and raving through the summers, on tiny sound systems Alex strapped together from stuff he found on the street.

The Treehouse Gallery

I learned to be a security guard, designed and managed the website, produced 300 litres of elderflower Champagne, helped construct a herb garden, gave a talk on inside out black hole universes and built the workshop booking system for the Treehouse Gallery Project in Regent's Park.

Trip

Trip is the name my band will have, if I ever get one together. I have a CD entitled 'Trip - Chill Out' which I sometimes swap for drugs at parties. There are seven people living in my tiny flat in Swiss Cottage at the moment, I'm hoping they'll be my band, but I can't guarantee anything. This site contains loads of music, on an endless loop!

Rainbow School of Thought

I read Tarot, am a Kaballist and have worked in Rainbow Visions, participating in African Drum and spiritual sessions for a number of years there. Now that White Dove has gone to India, and left me with his singing bowls, I am working on a new initiative, the Rainbow School of Thought, in alignment with the worldwide Rainbow movement, its customs and practices.

VectorZoo

A long time ago, in a galaxy far far away, I used to be an interactive designer. This flash site contains my portfolio and lots of trippy animated art. Clients included the BBC, Saatchi & Saatchi, Sony Playstation, Disney and Ashridge Business School.

Homeless Diamonds

Homeless Diamonds is an internal magazine for homeless shelters run by St. Mungo's in the King's Cross area. The Art is in the Tea (me and Sarah) ran art and poetry workshops in the shelter and produced and edited an issue for St. Mungo's.

theLondonUnderground.net

I ran this site for a few years, extensively covering the D.I.Y. and alternative music scene in Hackney. Recently, I went to a party in Hackney and told them I ran the scene and had the paperwork to prove it. Someone smashed me in the face with my own guitar and split my lip, but held my ground, spitting blood onto a mandala and smiling happily as I danced with my assailant, and I still assert that I run the underground music and arts scene in Hackney. Also Camden. ;-)

Mynetworks

MyNetworks is a prototype web delivery system that I designed initially to automate the Treehouse Gallery site workflow and to aggregate a set of useful tools for small communities and businesses. All the sites listed on this page, and the UKCreate site run using MyNetworks.

Jumping the Curve

Jumping the curve is an animated, illustrated guide to global change management. This is the first website I ever built, with the Performance Group and Amaze Ltd.
